mark 22:23

Meet Mark. And the stunned look on his face.
Today Curtis and I were driving downtown after dinner with a box full of yummy McGuires' food looking for someone who needed it. We found Mark-digging through trash cans.
When we offered him the food he was grateful, when we offered him our hand he was shocked.
It's life changing to care for those who feel like no one does. A simple introduction goes a million miles. Sidenote: I have given food to the homeless before, so that I'm honest, but never in Pensacola, sadly, but now I have and I plan to do it again and again!

Yesterday (July 31st) we went to the Farmer's Market downtown. I forgot to take a picture, so sorry, but I did snap a photo at the park when we went to check out the doggy beach.
Hope you love it!!
Love,

BC

p.s. Thanks to my readers for reading. And thanks to my people for befriending the homeless and lonely on nights like this. You make me proud.

p.s.s. I was born to hold up your arms.

I read every day. But I don't always comment, and for that I repent. :)

Hey Bethany,

I stumbled across your blog on facebook today and wanted to let you know I really appreciate it. I look forward to reading new posts in the near future.
Your earlier post about sponsoring a child really made an impact - it's something I've thought of doing before but always gotten sidetracked. Time to get real about it. Thank you.

Kaitlyn, I'm so glad that I could remind you about sponsersing a child..please consider sponsering from Zimbabwe if you decide to sponser at all! It's been such a fun and rewarding thing to do. You won't regret it. Thanks for reading, hope to hear more from you in the future!!
