oragami 3

deadliest catch

Let me just say, I enjoyed my 3rd project: attempting oragami! The whole process was pretty much me laughing at myself.

I made a boat, a rabbit and a life size elephant. I had to get some help from Curtis...well mostly he did the elephant..and the rabbit. Oragami will test your patience. I did complete the boat on my own, tho!!

I have discovered a fun passtime, but I can't say that it will be one of my favorites. I wasn't that good at it. I would be surprised if any one was right off the bat. But, hey, try it if you haven't before! It's surprisingly fulfilling when you complete folding a peice of paper.

I think I might decorate with them, they're pretty lovely!

Love, BC

p.s.s. Have you done anything new lately?

I like your blog!
That’s a great coincidence, because I have been trying new things also. This past week, I decided I was going to learn to enjoy cooking. Let's just say it was a very disappointing week!
I made elaborate dinners every night (which it almost never happens here at the Moore's house) all followed by dessert. Included on the menu were home made pizza, baked chicken, and even a roast...By the way, did you know a roast can take up to 9 hours to cook in a crock pot? What the crap!?
I also attempted to make a banana putting pie, brownie bites, and a fruit salad.
My husband ate it all and said everything was scrumptious, but I don’t personally trust his opinion, since he is also the one crazy guy who ate a guinea pig once and said it was delicious.
I’d say my cooking skills are getting better, but still I have found no joy in it. However, I do find joy to know my husband appreciates my efforts. I guess that’s what all is about, right?!
I’m going to continue to focus on cooking until I learn to do it well…or until my husband can’t take it anymore. I’ll let you know which one comes first.
Later,
Frency

we have tried something new lately. We took down the crib and put the big girl mattress on the floor for Jadah. Also we send her to bed without laying with her now because she is slightly spoiled! very hard to listen to such a beautiful little girl cry because you pointed your finger and said "bed" Isn't it ok if I spoil her? But i understand! Big sister gets jealous, dont want her to feel left out(even though she got to sleep in the bed with us) shhh dont tell Jadah!!
